  Beautiful spot with great views from above. Great views of the ocean. The pier is long gone, but the concrete pillars remain. I saw people attempting to make the steep trip down to the beach below. I would no recommend that. It's almost a sheet vertical drop, and the surface of the slope can crumble. A fall here is certain death, plus there are ticks in the area. Safest views are from above.

  Very cool spot, however, very difficult to get down to. I would not recommend this for anyone with any mobility issues, it is very steep and there are plenty of loose rocks. It made for quite the anxiety filled climb down and back up. But once you are down there, the beach is not crowded and the old pier makes for cool pictures. There is a decent amount of trash around, looks like younger folks party down there and leave their garbage for everyone else to enjoy. Very desolate spot in an otherwise crowded area makes this place desirable.
